Grow

Installation h50 x b40 x d20 2020

"Grow" is an intervention composed of fragments from another artwork. These disjointed pieces originated from the remnants of the work "Shadow." I have assembled these remaining parts together, creating the illusion of growth within my home. Each piece has been meticulously cut using a scroll saw, resulting in charred black edges—a unique effect caused by the wood burning process.

The artwork seems to organically expand within the domestic space, transforming the ordinary into a visual spectacle. Through "Grow," the artist invites viewers to contemplate the concept of growth and transformation, not only in nature but also within the context of our living environments. This installation challenges traditional boundaries by seamlessly integrating art into everyday life, blurring distinctions between artistic creation and domestic space.

Witness the evolution of art within the intimate setting of a home, where remnants of one creation give birth to another, fostering new narratives and possibilities. "Grow" embodies the essence of artistic exploration, where materials once discarded find new purpose and meaning, enriching the space they inhabit with a sense of dynamic growth and creative ingenuity.
